WHERE
The event took place in the SOUTHSIDE district of Birmingham in local bars, restaurants and spaces. Southside is a couple of minutes walk from Birmingham’s iconic Bullring and main train station New Street. The main street running through Southside is Hurst Street. It’s a vibrant bustling area full of great bars and restaurants and is home to the city’s Chinese community, Gay Village and Theatreland.
WHEN
11-14th October, 2012
PARTNERS
The event partnered with The Birmingham Zine Festival (BZF) which will take place at the same time.
BZF celebrates alternative publications and features a varied collection of exhibitors who self-publish books, comics and magazines. This will be its third year and as always will incorporate exhibitions, talks, workshops and performances as well as the Zine Fair which is the event’s main attraction. BZF talks and workshops aim to provide inspiration and business advice for publishers, authors and illustrators alike.
